This month has been a very heavy one thats weighted me down a bit. From the beginning of April I was on the search for my sister who went missing, and unfortunately my search ended with her being found in the Chattahoochee River.
Between finding her and laying her to rest, the world has been a bit chaotic to the point where I still can't fathom the loss of her or really do anything until everything is put into place where she can finally rest.
There were a lot of things that we shared, and music and painting were our strongest ties. We'd spend hours from night till morning smoking on the porch and playing chill out, EDM, trip hop and acid jazz .. and strangely we never ever ran out of music to play.
Over the next few weeks I'll be dj'ing sets of our favorite tracks together.. and while I am quite struck with this devastating end, I'd think she'd like to hear these sets on the elevator up to the next level.
