BNB'ers,
Warm delicious retrospective noise is up on the set this. week for a new travel session called "Sequoia". While Nina Grey was dj'ing you her set, I spent the weekend out in the Sequoia National Forest. The particular point was called Peppermint Creek, which was nestled right on top of a multi hundred foot waterfall.
I went with a group to this event called "Camp Kaftan" which was put on by my friends at Otter Magic, a club in LA that revolves around some amazing disco and dance revelations. This was a Kaftan .... theme (i'm not joking, and prepare yourself for the photo below, its ridiculously good), and believe you me, it was at a camp, and it was very campy.
The days were filled with hiking the peaks, and laying around in natural shaped pools alongside the creek that spilled out into the falls.... and the nights were filled with me blindly going out to the rocks, nearly killing myself on accident each time, to get a glance at the stars.
Now I'm a sucker for the stars. Seriously, I become quite obsessive in areas beyond the city to see the stars. I become overwhelmed with fascination of the night sky, and I believe it began with my trips with Nina when we lived in Seattle and went out to her parents cabin out in the desert of Orondo in Eastern Washington.
So when I got the chance to see them here, well attempted at any chance I could get, whether it was a group trip or just me by myself.
This show is in dedication to the sounds I listened to while out there on the rocks at night and inside my tent before my eyes closed to sleep. Please enjoy.
