I can't believe its been almost TWO years since the last Glitch show, well, ... I might be exagerrating a bit, but the last Glitch show was 21 months ago on January 2010. There was a small versus set between Nina Grey and myself, but nothing strictly dedicated to the actual Glitcharama sessions..
Okay. I digress, and be that as it may, I'm now here with the show. This is a special one as I'm bringing back the classics from Warp Records IDM artists, and mixing it with some of the more currect minimalist house and glitch artists from Kompakt. This starts off VERY chill out with mid 90's IDM vibes with Machine Drum, BoC, and Square Pusher, and then smacks back and forth inbetween dance'esque minimalist flotsam/jetsam of Superpitcher and Apparat against Plaid, Autechre, and Aphex twin, and eventually pinballs out on the other side of the Kompakt records fence. I'll think you'll enjoy this.
I'm on my way to San Francisco right now. and will come back with another random set next week starring some great Beautiful Noise All Stars.
