My time in Athens, GA has come to an end. I spent the last 10 months reconfiguring my work, and figuring out this whole process for an MFA, only to get onto an amazing project for the next 2.5 years out in Washington D.C. I'm moving my things back up to Chicago, and will be traveling monthly to D.C. to work on the deal that I have there. I will remember fondly of the kayaking trips on Broad River, sweating in the parking lot shack grabbing napkins for The Last Resort Grill, hanging out on the Easy Street porch with Dani, and rollerskating in my warehouse off of Barrow Street in Pulaski Heights. Thank you to everyone I crossed paths with out in Georgia. Its been almost 17 years since I've lived here last and I had an amazing time being back home.
This set is in dedication to nostalgia and all the tracks I listened to out in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle, Las Vegas, and beyond... that reminded me of home back out in Georgia. Special thanks to Tracy and Dave Stroud, my saviors in this town that kept me afloat in the deepest and darkest times. Much love to you both.
