I have this special place in my heart for Chicago. Ever since Mishel and I drove from Atlanta to Chicago that one summer 14 years ago ... we sat on the beach and questioned why we were where we were.. .. because we were so in love with the city.
Two years ago I revisited the city for a show and became immersed in this beautiful cluster of people. Every time I visited there, I had the hardest time leaving because of my emotional attachment to the city..
And even just a week ago, when I spent my time there, I had... one of the best few days of my year there. So much, that when I boarded the plane, I became so distraught with what I was doing with my life... that I didn't want to board the plane.
Now out in Las Vegas again, all I can think about is that city and how I miss it. ... I miss everything about it.
This set is dedicated to Julianna Cuevas and A.K. Miller out there. .. who time and time again make me so happy with their company. This session in particular fused two sounds.. one from my library that I've been building on for the past few weeks, and two ... the sounds that I heard from the dj playing these incredible house tracks out on Hollywood Beach during a day party.
