Washington D.C. is a mirror city with Los Angeles, in where the streets slick themselves with power. The daytime is bustling with the turning gears of America, and there is great strain and stress booming through the avenues that criss cross into each other at every angle. But at night, the city cools down as the sun sets, the cicada's hustle their song through the trees.. and DC transforms into a city of warm lights and angles. I spent the evenings walking through DuPont circle, U-Street district, Meridian Hill Park, and Adams Morgan to get a feel of the place... as well as taking the midnight to 2am walk to the monuments that surround the area.
I compiled this set to go over those journeys, and what came to fruition was a very solemn late night foggy downtempo set that I think you'll enjoy. This also features yet another unreleased goodie from a well anticipated British singer .. that just really sets the mood for this set.
