We are in the thick of the Summer here in Hollywood and the West is burning up. What better time to bring back a sweaty and slow set of downtempo and groove. This dives deep into sensual beats, then slips into slow moving chill out, and ends out inbetween the two. I've personally been taking this set on my walks around the boulevard and drives up to the hills. I'm pretty fond of this set, and hope you'll like it too. Nina Grey is back on (wasn't that last ambient session phenomenal?), and we'll be doing a back to back .vs. set engaging in whatever (kind of like the ETC sessions).
Oh, and real quickly. (Funny BNB story) While I was back out in San Francisco I ran into a friend who didn't know I did this broadcast (clearly I'm all about the down low on these sets. Its not about promotion, as its about that secret mix tape feeling inbetween the people that discover this site). He mentioned he ended up going home with someone, and while he was at their house, they were playing some lovely downtempo from their stereo. He mentioned "Hey, what is this music", and they replied "Oh its some guy named Tennessee. He plays this set called "Hot Music For Cheap Hotels" and I play it during times like this". I love hearing stories like this, and I'm glad you are using these sets to good use! Thats what all these themes are for my audiophile friends!
